The undisputed protagonist is the parquet flooring, combined with a mix of vintage elements and custom-made furniture. “We wanted to use wood but not in a traditional way, to recreate a box with soft shades where heterogeneous pieces could be placed. Kerakoll’s Legno+Color Small allowed us to achieve the desired result, enhancing the material effect without emphasizing the traditional look of the material,” explains Roberta Borrelli, designer and founder of makeyourhomestudio.

The chosen color is KK 64 from the Warm Grey palette: a unique shade that runs through the entire apartment, also applied to the wooden treads of the metal staircase leading to the upper floor, giving the space a sense of uniformity.

Cozy living room with a cozy sofa, wooden chair, and built-in shelves displaying pottery. A striped rug and glass vase adorn the floor.
Minimalist living room with a gray sofa, modern chair, open shelving, and neutral decor. A staircase leads upstairs. Soft, natural lighting.

A striped rug with fringed edges on a light floor, under a sofa. A closed book with a photo on the cover rests on the rug.
