Each room, a colour
Mint green, powder pink, terracotta. In Laura’s Milan home, Clara Bona uses colour to give each room its own distinctive character, creating a sequence of atmospheres that flow harmoniously into one another.

The classic features of the Milanese apartment—mouldings, a dark fireplace and herringbone parquet—provide the backdrop for a fresh, personal interior. White and neutral tones dominate the living area, where understated furnishings are paired with retro-inspired pieces, sculptural lamps, artworks and personal mementos. Then comes colour. Through the living room’s glazed doors, the kitchen is revealed in the delicate green of KK 2241.
In the sleeping area, the palette becomes warmer: dusty pinks, terracotta and browns lead to the bathroom, where Patina KK 6155 envelops walls and volumes. In the bathroom-laundry room, meanwhile, Patina KK 8099 creates a deeper, more intense atmosphere. Room by room, the different shades guide the transition between spaces, sometimes subtly hinted at, at other times rich and enveloping. A succession of chromatic accents that tells the story of a personal, lived-in home that is never predictable.
