A dream space

How to imagine a space that must convey a dream dimension?

Location:

Nocera Inferiore, Salerno

Project:

Officina 50 – Elena Aufiero & Rossella Notari

For an event planner's studio, Elena Aufiero and Rossella Notari of Officina 50 chose to put a large bright moon descending from the ceiling in the centre. Everything else is minimal, starting with the deliberately neutral colour palette. Kerakoll's Patina Living KK 75, which covers walls and ceilings with a delabré effect, creates a space where light diffuses harmoniously. Microresina Floor KK 105 is butter-coloured, a fluid background on which the furniture elements rest.

A scenic backdrop, painted a sophisticated brick red Decor KK 103, adds a distinctive element to the ambience, as do the handcrafted custom-made tables. ‘We thought of the event where anything is possible, the power of suggestion and the capacity for imagination, without suggestions of style and trends,’ comment the two designers.
